Jens Fehlinger, CEO of SWISS since 2024, began his professional career with the Lufthansa Group in 2006 as a Pilot. His early corporate career featured various management positions including Head of Corporate Airline Strategy & Business Development for Lufthansa Airlines and Head of Operations Performance Management & Analytics for the Lufthansa Group.

From 2020, he headed the Lufthansa Group’s crisis management office during the COVID-19 pandemic and led the subsequent ReNew restructuring program within the Group. Before moving to Zürich, Jens Fehlinger served as Co-Managing Director of Lufthansa CityLine in Munich, while simultaneously establishing and developing the Lufthansa City Airlines company as Managing Director. 

Jens Fehlinger studied aviation engineering and management in Bremen and traffic and transport in Darmstadt (Germany). He also holds an Executive MBA from ie Business School.
