REGISTER FOR THE GRADUATION CEREMONY NOW!
You can register for your graduation ceremony through the registration link with your IE student email. The deadline to register you and your guests is March 15. You can register your guests via the same link. You will be able to modify the names of your registered guests until April 30th. If you do not register your guests before March 15th, you will forfeit your unused guest tickets so they can be offered to other students. The availability of extra tickets cannot be guaranteed for every student. Please note that each student can bring up to 2 guests due to seating capacity constraints. If maximum seating capacity is not reached, students will be able to register more guests on a first come first served basis after the deadline. Don't forget to also rent your cap and gown! You can find the link to do so below under "Gown Rental".

Graduations website where you can rent the gowns.
Yes. We want to give the on campus celebration the solemnity
and importance it deserves, so all students attending the on campus
event will wear a cap and gown.
On the day of your graduation event there will be a booth where
you can pick up your cap and gown. It is located on campus in
the private area for graduates.
No. The gown is rented, but you can keep the cap.
If you reserved the gown and are unable to attend, please send
an email to your respective Program Management and a refund
will be processed.
Yes, at the end of the graduation you can take the graduation cap
as a souvenir of the event.
You can register your guests in the same link you register yourself.
You can obtain them by requesting them from your peers who are
attending the same event as you (date and time) who will not be using
theirs. In order for this to work, you must ask them to list your guest as
theirs on the registration form. A few weeks before the graduation, if there
are still seats available, registration will be opened for more guests on a
first come first served basis until full capacity is reached.
You can change it yourself on the registration form. The deadline to do this
is the March 15th at 23:59h CEST. If you have any problems, contact
your respective Program Management.
All guests old enough to occupy a seat must be registered.
Yes, we have spaces for attendees with reduced mobility. Please contact
your respective Program Management to request these spaces.
You will be able to leave your stroller in the cloakroom. The deposit system
will be the same as a normal coat. When you leave the stroller, you will be
given a ticket in exchange. You can go back to the stroller as many times as
you need to, you just need to show the ticket each time you do so. Once
you leave, you can hand over the ticket and the stroller will be given back
to you.
All attendees must be registered for graduation. Closer to the date of the event, they will be sent an invitation to the ceremony.
You will be able to register your guests until March 15th at 23:59h
CEST. You will be notified if additional guests for each student are available after the deadline.
If you need an invitation letter for your guests to get the VISA, please
contact student services at Student.Services@ie.edu with the following
information:
- The family member/members information (name, nationality, passport
number)
- Their relation to you
- Consulate where they will apply for their visas
- Copies of the passports (student and family members)
*IE can only write visa letters for immediate family members, and they
must be requested preferably 1 month in advance.
Yes. All graduates are called up and will walk to the stage.
Yes. We want to give the on-campus celebration the solemnity

Dual Master students who have not yet completed both programs
do not receive a diploma.
All graduation schedules will be available on the Graduations
2023 website.
Yes, all the events will be transmitted via streaming. You will find
the link on the graduation website.
No. All events are conducted in English and there is no interpretation service.
Yes. The names of the graduates are called out when they go up
for their diplomas.
Yes, after the graduation ceremony there is a catering event for
an hour and a half where you can be with classmates, family
and teachers. Please note that there will be vegetarian options
available.
Yes, the catering event will have a vegetarian/vegan option.
Graduates should arrive an hour and a half before the event.
Guests may arrive an hour before the event.
The graduation ceremony lasts 1 hour and is followed by a catering service for 1h 30.
No. Participation in the cocktail event is optional.
No. You may only attend the event you are graduating in. If you wish to attend another event, you must attend as a guest of another student who is graduating at that event.
There will be a cloakroom where suitcases can be stored, only if they are hand luggage.
You will have access to the graduation photos in the days following the event. You can find the link on the graduation website.
A link to download the photos will be provided. In turn, the link will be included on the graduation website.
The graduation video will be posted on the graduation website in the days following the ceremony. You can find the link on the graduation website.
The IE Tower parking lot won't be available for guests. You can park in the Caleido parking lot next to the IE Tower at your own expense.
Yes, you have to RSVP and register your 2 guests.
Due to capacity, each student graduating can bring up to 2 guests. If you'd like more, you must find someone who is not using their 2 guest passes.
