Carlos has over 15 years of experience helping professionals across geographies and sectors to define their professional objectives and to identify the most effective ways to achieve them.

Currently Carlos is the Director of Career Services at IE University (Undergraduate School), with responsibility over 4000 students and a team of 10 staff career management professionals. During his first 5 years at IE Business School, one of the leading business schools globally, Carlos acted as a career advisor and industry recruitment specialist, leading the development of new partnerships with top level employers. His most significant achievements were the establishment of the IE Finance Career Fair and the creation of the Career curriculum for the IE Masters in Finance programs. In his previous role as Director of Career Skills Development at IE, he led the design of the Career Strategy for all master programs, which included the complete redesign of the MBA Careers curriculum.

Prior to IE, Carlos worked for two of the leading firms in executive search and talent management consulting: Korn Ferry Futurestep (London) and Michael Page (Spain), performing more than 2000 interviews, coaching middle and senior managers to achieve their career goals and assisting corporates in building their talent pipelines. As a consultant, Carlos successfully delivered top level recruitment mandates across EMEA, serving executives as a trusted advisor, managing difficult conversations and conflict, and capturing key talent for some of the top global Blue Chips. The high profile of these projects, together with the impact that the appointment of a new CEO has on the market and on the performance of the corporation itself, is what Carlos found most attractive of his consulting experience.

Carlos brings together an extensive knowledge of recruitment practices at all seniority levels, with ability to conduct business in 2 languages working on talent management and inspiring top performance leadership.

He has lived in Belgium, UK and Spain.
