She is American but has lived in Madrid for the last five years. She did her bachelor degree in Communication and Hispanic Studies at the University of Pennsylvania and got her MA and PhD in Sociology at Harvard..She is passionate about diversity & inclusion, migration, and identity, which influenced her dissertation topic about race and identity among migrants from Nigeria, the Dominican Republic, and Morocco in Spain. She is currently the Academic Director of the Bachelor in Behavior and Social Sciences, where she also teach a few courses.
