Rolf Strom-Olsen earned his BA from the University of Pennsylvania, his MA from McGill University and his PhD from Northwestern University, all in History. A former Fulbright scholar and Social Science Research Council fellow, Rolf is associate professor of humanities at IE Business School and IE University. His MOOC “Critical Perspectives on Management,” which has been available on the Coursera platform since 2014, was recently named one of the top online courses of all time by Class Central.
A medieval and early modern historian by training, he teaches on a wide range of topics from political philosophy to management, and is currently working on a book about climate change in historical perspective.
